What you are hiring
Fragor Studios ([registered company name to be completed], CUIT [CUIT to be completed]) designs and builds websites, online stores and custom software.
The scope of each job is whatever the quote you accepted says, no more and no less. The prices shown on the site are starting points: your project's price comes from the quote, not from the pricing page.
Anything not in the quote is on you: copy, photos, third-party licences, paid advertising. If you want us to handle it, we quote it separately.
Quote, price and payment
Before we start, you get the price, the scope and the delivery date in writing. If it is not in writing, it is not agreed.
For fixed-scope projects, 40% is due when you confirm and 60% on delivery, before the final launch. For custom software we work in two-week blocks: you pay for the block that is starting, and you can stop at the end of any of them and keep what has been built so far.
Prices are stated in US dollars. If you pay in another currency, the exchange rate on the payment date applies. Taxes, bank fees and payment platform fees are not included unless the quote says otherwise.
Third-party costs, such as domain, hosting, fonts and email platforms, are paid separately and registered in your name.
Revisions and scope changes
Each delivery includes two rounds of adjustments to what was agreed. Adjusting means correcting, moving, and changing copy, images and colours.
Changing your mind about what should be built is not an adjustment: it is new scope. When that comes up we tell you what it costs and how much time it adds before touching anything. You decide.
There are no surprise charges. If something goes beyond the quote, you hear about it beforehand, not on the invoice.
Deadlines and what pauses them
The delivery date starts counting once we have both things: the deposit and the content (copy, photos, logos, access credentials).
The clock stops if your content is missing or if a question from us goes unanswered for more than five business days. It restarts when the missing piece arrives, and the date is recalculated for the days it was on hold.
If a project goes unanswered for more than thirty calendar days we treat it as paused. Restarting it later may carry a restart fee, which we tell you about before charging it.
If we are the ones running late and it is not for reasons outside our control, we tell you as soon as we know and agree on a new date.
Ownership of the work
The domain, the hosting and the service accounts are registered in your name from day one. The keys are yours, not ours.
The rights to the design and the code we made for you become yours once payment is complete. Until then, delivery is provisional.
We keep using our own internal tools, components and libraries on other projects. That does not include your brand, your copy, your images or your data.
We may show the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to. Saying so is enough.
Warranty and liability
The first seven days after we start are a trial: if the design direction does not convince you and you prefer to walk away, we return the deposit in full and we each go our way. After that week, the deposit covers the work already done and is not refundable.
We fix any error of ours that shows up within thirty days of delivery at no charge. That does not cover content changes, new features or failures of third-party services.
We are liable for the work we did, up to the amount you paid us for that project. We are not liable for lost profit, lost sales or indirect damages.
We do not guarantee Google rankings, visitor numbers or sales volume. We do the technical work well; the commercial outcome depends on many things we do not control.
Governing law, changes and questions
These terms are governed by Argentine law. Any dispute we cannot settle by talking is submitted to the ordinary courts of [jurisdiction to be completed], Argentina.
This text describes how we work and is not legal advice. It may change: the version that applies to your project is the one in force when you accepted the quote, and the date above says when it was last updated.
Any question before signing, write to fragorstudios@gmail.com. Better to ask now than to argue later.
